Chinese New Year Necklace!

Hello! I mentioned the other day that the lovely Susie of Bejewelled and Beguiled had emailed me to tell me I'd won her frankly stunning Chinese New Year necklace. I was completely silly with excitement when a beautifully wrapped package arrived today, and I thought I'd share my good fortune with you! This year is also the Chinese Year of the Tiger, which is my year, so my tiger is obviously spreading good fortune already! Roar!

Eee! There was a letter in with it - I shall share the details! The necklet is silk with a silver clasp. The pendant is silver. The central piece holds five Swarovski crystals that represent the element of the Wu Xing. The colours of the necklace were chosen to bring the wearer luck.

My dreadful photography cannot possibly justify how pretty it is, but I'm completely in love with it, and estimate I'll probably be wearing it with just about everything I own! I was going to take some photos of it on, but I'd literally just got in from my run home from work and nobody needs to see that, to be perfectly honest! I shall save you that joy for the future!

So thank you so much, Susie! Go visit her shops on Etsy and Folksy for more pretties!
